Matthew 11:28-29

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

NLT:  Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”  “Take my yoke upon you.  Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for you souls.”

1 Peter 1:8-9 (KJV)

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

NLT:  You love him even though you have never seen him.  Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy.  The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.
