Genesis 16:13-14 (AMP)
So she called the name of the Lord
Who spoke to her, You are a God of seeing, for she said, “Have I (not) even
here (in the wilderness) looked upon Him Who sees me (and lived)? Or have I here also seen (the future purposes
or designs of) Him Who sees me? Therefore
the well was called Beer-lahai-roi (A well to the Living One Who sees me).
NLT: Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer
to the Lord, who had spoken to her. She
said, “You are the God who sees me.” She
also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” So that well was named Beer-lahai-roi (which
means “well of the Living One who sees me”).
It can still be found between Kadesh and Bered.
Psalm 139:7-10
Where can I go from your
Spirit? Where can I flee from your
presence? If I go up to the heavens, you
are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I
settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your
right hand will hold me fast.
NLT: I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go
down to the grave, you are there. If I
ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there
your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.
Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is with you, he
is mighty to save. He will take great
delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with
singing.
NLT: “For the Lord your God is living among
you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with
gladness. With his love, he will calm
all your fears. He will rejoice over you
with joyful songs.”
