Isaiah 49:13

Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains!  For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

NLT:  Sing for joy, O heavens!  Rejoice, O earth!  Burst into song, O mountains!  For the Lord has comforted his people and will have compassion on them in their suffering.

John 15:5

“I am the vine; you are the branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

NLT:  “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches.  Those who remain in me and I in them, will produce much fruit.  For apart from me you can do nothing.”

James 1:4

Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

NLT:  So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
