Psalm 139:1-2

O Lord, you have searched me and you know me.  You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

NLT:  O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.  You know when I sit down or stand up.  You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Matthew 1:23

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.”

NLT:  “Look!  The virgin will conceive a child!  She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”

Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.

NLT:  Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.
