Matthew 28:5-7

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.  Come and see the place where he lay.  Then go quickly and tell his disciples; ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.  There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

NLT:  Then the angel spoke to the women.  “Don’t be afraid!”  he said.  “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.”  “He isn’t here!  He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen.  Come, see where his body was lying.” 

“And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and he is going ahead of you to Galilee.  You will see him there.  Remember what I have told you.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

NLT:  This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.  The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
