Exodus 3:14

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.  This is what you are to say to the Israelites:  ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

NLT:  God replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.  Say this to the people of Israel:  I AM has sent me to you.”

Psalm 63:2

I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.

NLT:  I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory.

Habakkuk 3:17-19

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.  The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.

NLT:  Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord!  I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! 

The Sovereign Lord is my strength!  He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.
