Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children, forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

NLT:  “The Lord our God has secrets known to no one.  We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions.”

Luke 12:25-26

“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?”

NLT:  Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 

And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things?

Psalm 32:8

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.

NLT:  The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.  I will advise you and watch over you.”
