Psalm 27:8 (NKJV)

When You said, “See My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will see.”

NLT:  My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.”  And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”

John 15:11

“I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”

NLT:  “I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy.  Yes, your joy will overflow!

1 Corinthians 13:12

Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.  Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

NLT:  Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.  All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.
