Matthew 1:22-23

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:  “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel.”  --which mean, “God with us.”

NLT:  All this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet:  “Look!  The virgin will conceive a child!  She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
