Isaiah 12:2-3

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.  The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.”  With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

NLT:  See, God has come to save me.  I will trust in him and not be afraid.  The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.  With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation!

Psalm 56:3 (NKJV)

Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

NLT:  But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.

Psalm 21:6

Surely you have granted him eternal blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence.

NLT:  You have endowed him with eternal blessings and given him the joy of your presence.
