Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again:  Rejoice!

NLT:  Always be full of joy in the Lord.  I say it again—rejoice!

Psalm 95:1-2

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.  Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

NLT:  Come, let us sing to the Lord!  Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.  Let us come to him with thanksgiving.  Let us sing psalms of praise to him.

Psalm 9:10

Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

NLT:  Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.

2 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

NLT:  But thank God!  He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession.  Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.
