Galatians 5:22

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

NLT:  But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives:  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (23) gentleness, and self-control.  There is no law against these things!

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

NLT:  Each time he said, “My grace is all you need.  My power works best in weakness.”  So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses so that the power of Christ can work through me.

1 John 4:12

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

NLT:  No one has ever seen God.  But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
