Exodus
16:15-16, 19
Moses said
to them, “It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat. This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Each one is to gather as much as he
needs.’…No one is to keep any of it until morning.”
NLT: The Israelites were puzzled when they saw
it. “What is it?” They asked each
other. They had no idea what it was. And Moses told them, “It is the food the Lord
has given you to eat.” … Then Moses told
them, “Do not keep any of it until morning.”
Philippians
4:6-7, 19
Do not be
anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard
your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus…And my God will meet all your needs
according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
NLT: Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray
about everything. Tell God what you
need, and thank him for all he has done.
Then you will experience God’s peace which exceeds anything we can
understand. His peace will guard your
hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
… And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from
his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
Hebrews
4:16
Let us then
approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and
find grace to help us in our time of need.
NLT: So let us come boldly to the throne of our
gracious God. There we will receive his
mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
