Psalm 141:8

But my eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign Lord; in you I take refuge—do not give me over to death.

NLT:  I look to you for help, O Sovereign Lord.  You are my refuge; don’t let them kill me. 

Isaiah 48:17

This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:  “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”

NLT:  This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:  “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow.”

Psalm 16:11

You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

NLT:  You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.
