Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

NLT:  Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Psalm 25:4-5

Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

NLT:  Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.  Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me.  All day long I put my hope in you.

John 14:27

“Peace I leave with you’ my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

NLT:  “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart.  And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.  So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
