Psalm 119:27

Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will mediate on your wonders.

NLT:  Help me understand the meaning of your commandments, and I will meditate on your wonderful deeds.

2 Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.  You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.

NLT:  “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.  What a fool you have been!  From now on you will be at war.”

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

NLT:  Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name.
