John 16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart!  I have overcome the world.”

NLT:  “I have told you all this that you may have peace in me.  Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.  But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Isaiah 41:13

“For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

NLT:  For I hold you by your right hand—I, the Lord your God.  And I say to you; ‘Don’t be afraid.  I am here to help you.’” 

Philippians 4:13

I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

NLT:  For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
