2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

NLT:  So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen.  For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Isaiah 6:3
And they were calling to one another:  “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”

NLT:  They were calling out to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies!  The whole earth is filled with his glory!”

Psalm 119:18 (NKJV)
Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.

NLT:  Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions.

Psalm 130:5
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope.

NLT:  I am counting on the Lord, yes, I am counting on him.  I have put my hope in his word.
