2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But he said to me, “My grace is
sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly
about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me…For when I am weak,
then I am strong.
NLT:
Each time he said to me, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses
so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses
and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for
Christ. For when I am weak, then I am
strong.
Acts 17:28
For in him we live and move and have our
being.
NLT: For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are
his offspring.’
Colossians 2:6-7
So then, just as you received Christ
Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him,
strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and over-flowing with
thankfulness.
NLT:
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must
continue to follow him. Let your roots
grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth
you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
John 14:20
“On that day you will realize that I am
in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”
NLT:
“When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father,
and you are in me, and I am in you.”
