Matthew 11:28-29

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

NLT:  Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”  “Take my yoke upon you.  Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. “ 

1 Timothy 2:8

I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.

NLT:  In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.

Zechariah 1:3

Therefore tell the people:  This is what the Lord Almighty says:  “Return to me,” declares the Lord Almighty, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty.

NLT:  Therefore, say to the people, this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says:  “Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
