2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NKJV)

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way.  The Lord be with you all.

NLT:  Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation.  The Lord be with you all.

Revelation 17:14

They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.

NLT:  Together they will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is the Lord of all lords and King of all kings.  And his called and chosen and faithful ones will be with him.”

John 15:13-15

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.  You are my friends if you do what I command.  I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business.  Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”

NLT:  There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.  You are my friends if you do what I command.  I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves.  Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.
