Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither
death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future,
nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
NLT: And I am convinced that nothing can ever
separate us from God’s love. Neither
death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our
worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s
love. No power in the sky above or in
the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate
us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Psalm 56:3-4
When I am afraid, I will trust in
you. In God, whose word I praise, in God
I trust; I will not be afraid. What can
mortal man do to me?
NLT: But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in
you. I praise God for what he has
promised. I trust in God, so why should
I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to
me?
Isaiah 43:19
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive
it? I am making a way in the desert and
streams in the wasteland.”
NLT: “For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the
wilderness. I will create rivers in the
dry wasteland.”
