March 31

Psalm 34:8
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

NLT:  Taste and see that the Lord is good.  Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!

Genesis 16:13-14 (AMP)
So she called the name of the Lord Who spoke to her…(the Living One Who sees me).

NLT:  Therefore, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, who had spoken to her.  She said, “You are the God who sees me.”  She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?”  So that well was named Beer-lahai-roi (which means “well of the Living One who sees me”).

John 20:19
On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!.”

NLT:  That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders.  Suddenly Jesus was standing there among them!  “Peace be with you.” He said.

Colossians 3:15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.  And be thankful.

NLT:  And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts.  For as members of one body you are called to live in peace.  And always be thankful.
