Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

NLT:  Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

Deuteronomy 33:27

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.  He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, “Destroy him!”

NLT:  The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you.  He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, ‘Destroy them!’

Jeremiah 29:13-14

“You will see me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.  I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.  I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

NLT:  “If you look for me wholeheartedly you will find me.  I will be found by you,” says the Lord.  “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes.  I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”
