John 15:13

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”

NLT:  “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

NLT:  For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

Zephaniah 3:17

The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save.  He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

NLT:  For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior.  He will take delight in you with gladness.  With his love, he will calm all your fears.  He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.

Numbers 6:25-26

“The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

NLT:  “May the Lord bless you and protect you.  May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.  May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace. (Includes vs 24)
